A roadmap of how we plan to build a welcoming, inclusive, and thriving region in Southwest Saskatchewan.
The 2025–2028 Southwest Saskatchewan Immigration Partnership Community Plan is a collaborative strategy to help newcomers successfully settle and thrive in the region. Created with input from local organizations, employers, service providers, and immigrants, it focuses on meeting labour needs in key sectors like agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology while also strengthening communities.
The plan emphasizes not just attracting, but also supporting and retaining immigrants by addressing challenges such as housing, language training, credential recognition, and employment support. Guided by the voices of newcomers themselves, it aims to build a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous Southwest Saskatchewan.
